Can I use Jalten on my own?
Yes. Create a free account, set up a personal workspace and connect your own key from a supported AI provider. Your provider bills its own account for what you use. You can also look around without signing up, in the sample workspace.
There’s no Jalten subscription fee for personal use.
What does the team trial include?
Jalten for up to 25 people for 30 days. It starts straight away, once you've confirmed your email and set up two-step sign-in. The trial is free: you pay only your own AI provider usage.
Does my ChatGPT, Claude or Grok subscription pay for it?
Usually not. A chat subscription isn’t an API balance: API keys are billed separately by each provider. Some Claude plans include monthly Claude API credits (Max and Team do; Free, Pro and Enterprise don’t), which you claim on claude.ai for the Console organisation your key comes from. Claude Code credits are different, and Jalten can’t use them. Claude credits only pay for Claude, not other providers.
Can administrators read conversations?
No. Administrators see usage, cost and policy information. Prompts and replies are never shown to them, and Jalten does not store them.
Which AI models are available?
The ChatGPT models from OpenAI, Claude models from Anthropic, Grok models from xAI and DeepSeek models. On your own, you connect your own provider key; in a company workspace, your organisation connects and approves them. Models from Google, Mistral AI, Cohere and Groq are coming soon.
